Ladies and Gentlemen of the Corps and friends,
 
First, I would like to apologize for the delay in this notification. I
regret to inform you all that a dear friend and Brother to the Corps and the
re-enacting family has passed from our midst this afternoon. A former
Commander of the Corps, General Jim Maupin passed away this afternoon from a
massive heart attack. No other details are known at this time but as more
details become known, including final arrangements, we will be sure to pass
the information along.
 
Jim was a fine gentleman who held the Corps in the Highest regards and he
left a legacy that we will not soon forget. He will be sorely missed by
many.
 
Please, if you notice someone who is not on this e-mail address that should
