[VAcourier] Prices for Footnote Subscription

We received a response to our first Footnote announcement asking about 
the price of a subscription to Footnote. After talking to a 
representative at Footnote, they told me that the SCV discount will 
always be $10.00 lower than the regular subscription prices for other 
individuals but their prices will be going up on August 1st.

Their current price is normally $69.95 for a year's subscription and 
they plan to raise that to $79.95 on August 1st. If you click on the 
Footnote from the Virginia Division Web site, according to the Footnote 
welcome page for SCV members, they are giving a Conference discount 
right now to new SCV subscribers in the amount of $59.95. On August 1st, 
the price for an SCV member will be $69.95 for a year. If you were 
thinking about subscribing, now would be the time to do so.

I currently have a subscription to Footnote and we use it to obtain 
documentation for every new member we receive into our camp. It has been 
a very valuable resource for our camp. When my current subscription to 
Footnote expires, I will sign up again using the Footnote link on the 
Virginia Division Web page to ensure that Oakwood gets the donation for 
my subscription. I originally had the automatic renewal option but found 
out that it will not generate an annual donation to Oakwood so I changed 
my subscription to a manual renewal which I will let expire and sign up 
again shortly afterward.
