[VAcourier] Virginia Division Awards and Proposed Amendments to the Virginia Division Constitution

To all Camp Commanders and Camp Adjutants,

This is a reminder that the Virginia Division Convention will be held on 
April 9-11 in Lynchburg, VA and is co-hosted by the Garland-Rodes Camp 
#409 and the Campbell Guards Camp #2117. Registration information has 
been posted on the Virginia Division Web site as listed below:

If your camp has members that you would like to give special recognition 
to, in the way of a division award, please forward to me their names and 
a short paragraph supporting the recommendation for the award. Please 
submit all award recommendations to me no later than March 15 to ensure 
that we have time to process the requests.

As a reminder, any proposed amendments to the Virginia Division 
Constitution will be presented and voted on at the Convention in April.

All submissions must be received by February 24, 2010 to be considered 
at the 2010 Virginia Division Convention.

Section 1. This Constitution may be amended at any Division Convention 
by a two-thirds vote, provided that the amendment has been submitted to 
the Chairman of the Resolutions Committee at least forty-five (45) days 
prior to the Convention and sent to each camp in good standing at least 
thirty (30) days prior to the Convention.
